Privacy Policy
Effective October 12, 2026
Sunny Code is operated by an independent individual developer, reachable at qingtianzjc@gmail.com. This policy covers the Sunny Code desktop application, its account sign-in service and this website.
Information used for sign-in
When you sign in with Google, Google and our authentication provider, Auth0 (Okta), process the sign-in. Sunny Code receives an account identifier, your name, email address, email verification status and profile picture when supplied. We use this information to identify your account and show your signed-in profile. Google sign-in requests basic identity, email and profile access only; it does not request access to Gmail, Drive, contacts or calendars.
Auth0 maintains an account record and processes authentication and security events, which can include IP address, browser or device information and sign-in time. The desktop app stores its session credentials encrypted using operating-system facilities. Signing out clears the app’s local account session and attempts to revoke its refresh token. Signing out does not delete your account or automatically sign you out of Google in your browser.
Projects, conversations and model providers
Project files and conversation history are handled locally by the desktop app and its agent runtime. Signing in to Sunny Code does not itself upload or synchronize that history to Auth0. When you use an AI model or a connected tool, your prompts, selected files, relevant project context and tool results may be sent to the provider or service you configure. Those services have their own privacy terms. Only give the agent access to information and actions you intend to share or authorize.
Website and support
Cloudflare hosts this website and processes network and request information to deliver and protect it. These pages contain no advertising trackers or analytics scripts. Authentication pages may use cookies or similar storage needed for sign-in and security. If you email support, we process your email address, message and any information you choose to include to respond to your request.
Sharing and international processing
Information is shared with providers as needed to deliver these functions: Auth0 for authentication, Google when you choose Google sign-in, Cloudflare for website delivery, and the model or tool services you configure. Account authentication is configured in Auth0’s US region; providers may process information in other countries under their terms. We may also disclose information where required by law or necessary to address misuse and protect security. We do not sell Google account information or use it for advertising.
Retention and your choices
Local conversations remain on your device until you delete them. Account records are retained while your account is maintained; authentication logs and backups follow the provider’s retention settings. Support messages are retained as needed to handle the request and relevant legal obligations. To request access, correction or deletion of your Sunny Code account and associated personal information, email qingtianzjc@gmail.com from the account’s email address. We may need to verify your identity. Some information may need to be retained for legal or security reasons.
You can revoke Sunny Code’s Google access in your Google Account settings. Revoking access or uninstalling the app does not by itself delete your Auth0 account record. You can separately delete local conversation data and contact the model providers you used about data they hold. Rights under applicable privacy laws are not limited by this policy.
Changes and contact
We will update this page and its effective date when this policy changes. For privacy questions or requests, contact qingtianzjc@gmail.com.
